Nespresso Artist
In June 2011 Evelyn bought her first Nespresso machine
And that’s when the passion began.
Nespresso had yet to start their recycling program in the US ~ and those used coffee pods were just too beautiful and too wasteful to throw away.
As a lifelong artist… Evelyn looked and saw an opportunity…

Evelyn talks about her Nespresso art…
Evelyn has always been an artist ~ she will always be an artist.
Her every act is filled with creative intention, vision and enthusiasm.
Since 2011 her principal media has been working with used Nespresso coffee pods. Working within the seemingly-constrained world of these particular shapes and color palettes has opened up a vast universe of unique and amazing art both inside her home and outside in the garden.
In Evelyn's hands, food becomes another art medium. Her belief that people in need should have access to nourishing, beautiful and healthy food on a consistent basis led her to found a non-profit organization in 1994, Food From The Heart, which continues to thrive and provides 160+ meals each week to families in need in her community of Santa Barbara.
Evelyn continues to volunteer for the program each week, and does special projects like design the art for the program’s new truck.
